Op 10 en 11 September 2016 organiseren wij voor de tweede keer een internationale BBQ wedstrijd Boerderijvlees “de Vaartse Hoeve”
Wij hanteren het wedstrijd reglement van KCBS deze wedstrijd is door hen goedgekeurd.
De teams bereiden 4 vlees categorieën om zich te kwalificeren voor het kampioenschap: Kip, Ribben, Pork en Brisket.
Daarnaast is er een vrije keuze om op zaterdag mee te doen met de “Vaartse Hoeve “bokaal.
U ontvangt van boerderijvlees “de Vaartse Hoeve”vlees die op geheel eigenwijze mag bereiden, alleen het publiek die voorzien zijn van een beoordelingslijstje beoordeeld wie de winnaar wordt van de Vaartse Hoeve bokaal.
Vorig jaar ging deze prijs naar team extreme uit België.
Op zondag hebben we een extra categorie waar vrijblijvend aan deelgenomen kan worden chefs choice je mag zelf weten wat je aanbied aan de jury dit wordt na de officiële wedstrijd ingediend.
Naast de bbq wedstrijd hebben wij nog tal van andere activiteiten op onze boerderij zoals biggen knuffelen,educatieve kijkstal met prijsvraag, jeugdbrandweer, handboog schieten, mega zandbak, marktkramen van zowel streekproducten als mensen met een beperking die diversen spullen aanbieden.
Zaterdagavond feestavond met feestband de Bounties ieder team krijgt hiervoor 4 gratis kaartjes.
Zondag om 17.00 uur prijsuitreiking door Burgemeester Marina Starmans
Er hebben zich al 18 teams ingeschreven, maar inschrijven is nog mogelijk we stoppen met de inschrijving bij 30 teams.
Het beloofd weer een gezellig evenement te worden, wij als organisatie hebben er weer super veel zin in.

On 10 and 11 September 2016 we organize the international BBQ competition Farm Meat”the Vaartse Hoeve” for the second time.
We apply the competition rules of KCBS this competition has been sanctioned by the KCBS.
The teams prepare four meat categories to qualify for the championship: Chicken, Ribs, Pork and Brisket.
There is a free choice to participate on Saturday with the “Vaartse Hoeve” trophy.
You receive farm “de Vaartse Hoeve” meat that can prepare any way you like, only the public who have a rating list will score the meat and so determine the winner of the Vaartse Hoeve trophy.
Last year the prize went to Team Extreme from Belgium.
On Sunday we have an additional category, chefs choice, so the team can decide what to offer the jury.
Besides the barbecue contest, we still have plenty of other activities on our farm such as piglets cuddle, educational look stable with a competition, the youth fire department, shooting longbow, mega sandbox, market stalls from both local as people with disabilities offering miscellaneous stuff.
Saturday night party with the party band Bounties each team gets 4 free tickets.
Sunday at 17:00 award ceremony by the Mayor Marina Starmans.
18 Teams already signed up, but registration is still open, the max is 30 teams.
It promises to be another memorable event, we as an organization are really looking forward to it.
